Usher is celebrating a special birthday!
On Saturday, the &#8220;My Boo&#8221; singer, 45, shouted out his partner, Jennifer &#8220;Jenn&#8221; Goicoechea, on Instagram as she turned one year older.
&#8220;I couldn’t ask for a better partna. Happy birthday, my love,&#8221; he wrote in his birthday tribute, sharing a black-and-white photo of the pair holding hands and cuddling, as well as a color snapshot of the two kissing.
His post also included a video clip of Goicoechea planting a series of kisses on the head of their 3-year-old daughter, Sovereign Bo.
Usher — whose real name is Usher Raymond IV — and the record industry executive were first romantically linked in June 2019 after they were photographed together at producer Keith Thomas&#8217; 40th birthday party. In October of that same year, the pair was spotted kissing backstage at the Hollywood Bowl.
Photographer Jennifer Johnson captured a shot of the romantic moment and shared it on Instagram. &#8221; &#8216;Cause she&#8217;s such a good kisser! 💋 Caught a rare moment with @usher backstage the other day. I stay catching moments like these boys be catching feelings!&#8221; Johnson wrote.
In September 2020, Usher and Goicoechea announced that they were expecting their first child together. At the time, Usher shared his joy about having a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 on the way.

&#8220;Babies always bring such joy to a family, and [I&#8217;m] really excited for my young one — well, my bean&#8217;s arrival,&#8221; he said on Good Morning America while announcing his 2021 Las Vegas residency.
Just weeks later, Sovereign Bo made her arrival. &#8220;We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond,&#8221; Usher announced on Instagram following his daughter&#8217;s Sept. 24 birth. “Isn’t She lovely” by Stevie Wonder on repeat ❤️ ❤️ ❤️.&#8221;
The following year, in September 2021, the pair welcomed a son, Sire Castrello, whose name is a nod to Goicoechea&#8217;s late grandfather Champ Castrello. Usher also has two sons — Usher &#8220;Cinco&#8221; Raymond V, 15, and Naviyd Ely, 14 — with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Earlier this year, Goicoechea was by Usher&#8217;s side when Boston&#8217;s Berklee College of Music presented him with an honorary doctorate. In an Instagram post celebrating the moment, the &#8220;New Flame&#8221; singer included a photo of Goicoechea embracing him as posed in his cap and gown.
&#8220;They call me D-o-c-t-o-r R-a-y-m-o-n-d 🎓😏🙏🏾,&#8221; he declared in his caption.

When the musician closed out his summer residency in Las Vegas in July, he made sure to give Goicoechea a shout-out in a short speech thanking all of the staff and performers. He called out to her as she sat in the audience, praising her as &#8220;My GOAT&#8230; my love, Jenn.&#8221;

The couple has another exciting moment to look forward to in a few months, when Usher takes the stage in February to perform the Super Bowl halftime show in Las Vegas. After the news was announced last month, he spoke about the honor of being selected for the coveted gig.
&#8220;This is a moment that I&#8217;ve waited my entire life for and I am not coming to disappoint. This is going to be a celebration,&#8221; he said during a live interview on CBS Mornings, adding that it was hard to keep the news a secret from his family and friends after he first found out.
&#8220;The hardest part is really the suspense,&#8221; he said.
