Jason Kelce thinks Taylor Swift fans have taken their love for Travis Kelce a bit too far. On a recent episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, Jason and Travis talked about the results of their podcast&#8217;s &#8220;NFL Best Team Name Bracket&#8221; — and they both accused each other of rigging the competition in a way.

Travis pointed out that the initial purpose of the competition was to vote based on names alone, without any personal biases influencing the vote. Both siblings said this did not actually happen, but Travis blamed his brother for it while Jason jokingly blamed Travis&#8217; relationship with Taylor Swift.

&#8220;The Swifties have this unrealistic infatuation with the Chiefs and Travis Kelce,&#8221; Jason said. Travis stopped him mid-sentence to say, &#8220;What?&#8221; clearly surprised by his brother&#8217;s accusations.
&#8220;They’re only voting based on their love for you, not on their love for the team name,” Jason continued. &#8220;So it wasn’t a realistic representation.”

To Travis, this accusation seemed pretty ridiculous because from his perspective, Jason persuaded people to vote for the Buffalo Bills over the Kansas City Chiefs. Besides, Swifties can&#8217;t be blamed for everything.
“It’s just ridiculous that you’re throwing everything on the Swifties,” Travis said.

Travis believes Jason &#8220;completely screwed the Chiefs out of winning&#8221; — and he pointed to some of Jason&#8217;s tweets as evidence to support his claim.

Travis pointed out that his brother persuaded everyone to vote based on names alone — but then proceeded to write &#8220;#BillsMafia.&#8221;
Jason said he just wanted to encourage people to vote and increase &#8220;voter turnout.&#8221; He was using classic &#8220;political campaign tactics,&#8221; he explained.

“I knew the Chiefs were already seeing it so I had to make sure the Bills Mafia saw it,&#8221; Jason said.
Travis thought that was fair, but wondered why he didn&#8217;t tag any other teams. “OK, what about the Steelers? What about the Vikings?” Travis asked Jason.
In spite of his jokes about Swifties, Jason later asked for their help. The New Heights podcast was nominated for podcast of the year, best sports podcast, and best overall ensemble in the iHeartRadio Podcast Awards.
“Swifties we’re talking to you right now, let&#8217;s rig this vote,” Jason joked. “This is not for me, this is for Travis. Please go and vote for the New Heights show as the podcast of the year.”
