Jason Kelce may not consider himself a runner, but he hit the road Saturday to raise money for a good cause.
The longtime Philadelphia Eagles center participated in the 16th annual Mike&#8217;s Seafood 5K Run/Walk for Autism in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, to raise money for autism. He finished the race a few seconds past the 43-minute mark.
The yearly event &#8220;raises money for the families of children with special needs, autism support groups and special services schools,&#8221; according to Nicholas Huba of the Press of Atlantic City.

The cause is one important to Kelce and his family as he, his wife, Kylie, and mother, Donna, have all been involved with the Eagles Autism Foundation since it was founded in 2019.
Kelce is well known in the Sea Isle community as he has served as a guest bartender at one of the local restaurants the past three summers to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation, according to Huba.
Kelce hasn&#8217;t officially announced his retirement from the NFL, though ESPN&#8217;s Adam Schefter reported in January that the Super Bowl champion and seven-time Pro Bowler informed his teammates that he would be hanging up the cleats.
If the 36-year-old is retiring, it&#8217;s probably safe to say he&#8217;ll continue to make an impact in the community well beyond his playing days.
