Kylie Kelce would prefer not to be called a WAG—and she recently explained why she doesn&#8217;t feel the term is descriptive of her role.
The term, a trendy title used to refer to &#8220;wives and girlfriends&#8221; of professional athletes, carries a certain &#8220;stereotype,&#8221; according to the wife of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, who admitted she &#8220;doesn&#8217;t like it.&#8221;
In a resurfaced New Heights podcast episode re-shared via Reddit on Sunday, Feb. 18, the mom-of-three was asked a simple question by her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce: &#8220;How does it feel to be referred to as a WAG?&#8221;
Kylie didn&#8217;t waste any time with her answer, cutting straight to the chase by responding, &#8220;I don&#8217;t like it.&#8221;

The Kelce brothers pestered the 31-year-old about why she feels that way. &#8220;You don&#8217;t like it?&#8221; Travis asked as Jason chimed in with, &#8220;Why not?&#8221; at the same time.
&#8220;Because I think, for the most part, there&#8217;s a stereotype of WAGs that I would not–&#8221; she said before her husband and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end interrupted. &#8220;What&#8217;s that? What&#8217;s the stereotype of a WAG?&#8221; they continued to inquire during her explanation.
&#8220;That everything is designer,&#8221; Kylie remarked, met with gasps from the podcast hosts. &#8220;You don&#8217;t like designer stuff? Jalen [Hurts] got me a Louis Vuitton bag, it&#8217;s really nice,&#8221; the dad-of-three joked, trolling his wife.

&#8220;What&#8217;s wrong with designers?&#8221; Travis pressed on.
Meanwhile, Kylie continued trying to get her point across through the brothers&#8217; comedic banter. &#8220;That they are with their significant others for reasons other than that they truly love them—honestly, that&#8217;s the part that deeply bothers me,&#8221; she expressed.
In response, Travis said, &#8220;We&#8217;re not calling you that,&#8221; while Jason playfully quipped, &#8220;I am,&#8221; as they both burst into laughter.
&#8220;Ha-ha-ha,&#8221; Kylie sarcastically remarked back, obviously totally accustomed to the Kelce crew&#8217;s silliness.
