The Princess of Wales&#8216; uncle Gary Goldsmith was a Celebrity Big Brother housemate for a less than a week before he was booted out last night after the toe-curling antics of the Middleton family &#8216;black sheep&#8217; left viewers grimacing.
The outspoken brother of Kate&#8217;s mother Carole Middleton joined the cast of the reality TV show on Monday night, but uncle Gary was the evicted last night as the public voted to save Lauren Simon.
Mr Goldsmith, 58, spilled royal secrets in the Big Brother house which &#8216;infuriated&#8217; his family, who are going through a hard time as his niece Kate recovers from abdominal surgery.
Speaking in his first interview on Late &amp; Live, Gary said: &#8216;I&#8217;ve had the best time, I went in with one agenda and I&#8217;ve achieved it in five days.
&#8216;I don&#8217;t consider myself to be a celebrity, I just happen to be related to someone who is a big celebrity.&#8217;

This is despite him attending William and Kate&#8217;s wedding in London in 2011 and then that of Kate&#8217;s sister Pippa Middleton to James Matthews in Berkshire six years later.
Mr Goldsmith regularly speaks out to support Kate, who is thought to call him &#8216;Uncle G&#8217;, and has previously hailed her as &#8216;the most spectacular person I have ever met&#8217;.
Kate&#8217;s mother had harsh words for her brother before he entered the Big Brother house amid fears that he could reveal secrets about the Royal Family. On Wednesday&#8217;s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Mr Goldsmith revealed that he hates when his niece Kate is referred to as &#8216;common&#8217;.
He also said that he and the Princess of Wales&#8217; mother, his sister, Carole was a multi-millionaire by the age of 30.
On Wednesday&#8217;s episode, Gary was chatting about his family with TV presenter Fern Britton when the topic of his family came up.
Although they had a humble upbringing, Gary said: &#8216;We were both multi&#8217;s [millionaires] by 30,&#8217; referring to him and his sister Carole.
&#8216;Really?&#8217; Fern said, sounding shocked. Gary nodded and said they earned their wealth from a variety of sources.
He then added: &#8216;I get a bit narky when they say Kate’s a commoner. There&#8217;s nothing common about their family.

Mr Goldsmith was quick to open up about his relationship to the Royal Family as the Princess of Wales&#8217; uncle, when he talked about it with Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne.
Gary didn&#8217;t hold back as he explained it is &#8216;difficult at the best of times&#8217; to get hold of his niece Kate, who is currently recovering from abdominal surgery.

Gary, who made millions owning a recruitment company, said: &#8216;I didn&#8217;t vote for it, it happened to me, and then suddenly there&#8217;s a spotlight on you.&#8217;
Discussing his thoughts about his nickname, he says: &#8216;They call me the buncle! Have you heard of a buncle? Bad uncle, apparently every family has them.&#8217;
Gary has been married four times and was convicted in 2017 of assaulting his fourth wife, Julie-Ann.
He pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating and was fined £5,000 and handed a 12-month community order with 20 sessions of rehabilitation.
Gary then admits: &#8216;It&#8217;s difficult to get hold of Kate at the best of times, and she&#8217;s got children and I love the fact that she&#8217;s putting family first.&#8217;

In his introductory video as he entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, Mr Goldsmith revealed the unexpected question he was asked by Prince William the first time they met.
