The 31-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Thursday, sharing six new snaps that were all captioned, &#8216;Lately,&#8217; the first of which showed a selfie when he had longer curly hair.
The next snap showed a hand holding clippers over Jonas&#8217; head, while the next showed him holding his daughter Malti with the new shorn look.
He also shared a brief video of him teeing off at a windy golf course, with the last slide showed him enjoying a pint of Guinness.
It seems the new shaved head look was for a movie role, which his wife Priyanka Chopra revealed in her own Instagram post.

Jonas was announced to star in Power Ballad in early May, described as a musical comedy from writer-director John Carney (Once, Sing Street).
The story centers around a wedding singer (Rudd) and a bona fide rock star (Jonas), with a song that comes between them.
Filming is happening at the moment in Dublin, Ireland, with the project to be shopped at the Cannes Film Market later this month.
Peter McDonald (The Bachelor Weekend) wrote the script with Anthony Bregman and Peter Cron producing through his Likely Story.
They will produce with Robert Walpole and Rebecca O’Flanagan for Treasure Entertainment.

Although the 31-year-old performer and his siblings Joe, 34, and Kevin, 36, were set to take to the stage in Mexico City on Friday evening, he stated that the band would be postponing four concerts for a later date.
The hitmaker &#8211; who was recently &#8216;forced to move out&#8217; of his dream home &#8211; revealed that the decision was made after he came down with the flu, which greatly inhibited his ability to perform.
Jonas stated: &#8216;A couple days ago I started feeling kind of rough, lost my voice when I had woken up and grinded that night out to be able to play the show in Cancun.&#8217;
The performer then stated that he began experiencing flu-like symptoms and consulted a doctor, after which he was advised to postpone the band&#8217;s shows in both Mexico City and Monterrey.
