Only two months after declaring early retirement, Lizzo is preparing to release new songs.
On Tuesday, the 36-year-old Grammy Award winner uploaded a mirror picture and previewed her upcoming album, revealing her recent mental health journey.
&#8220;I&#8217;m the happiest I&#8217;ve been in ten months,&#8221; Lizzo wrote in the post. Depression often goes unnoticed until it&#8217;s over.

Lizzo previously led fans to believe she was quitting the music industry as she aired her frustrations on social media amid the 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual harassment lawsuit against her.
&#8216;All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it,&#8217; she wrote in part. &#8216;But I&#8217;m starting to feel like the world doesn&#8217;t want me in it.
&#8216;I&#8217;m constantly up against lies being told about me for clout &amp; views… being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look… my character being picked apart by people who don&#8217;t know me and disrespecting my name.&#8217;
The Special artist added, &#8216;I didn&#8217;t sign up for this s**t— I QUIT.&#8217;
After support from fans and friends like Paris Hilton, Queen Latifah and Tordick Hall, Lizzo clarified that she only meant she &#8216;quit giving any negative energy attention.&#8217;
&#8216;What I&#8217;m not going to quit is the joy of my life, which is making music, which is connecting to people, &#8217;cause I know I&#8217;m not alone,&#8217; she said.
&#8216;In no way, shape or form, am I the only person, who is experiencing that negative voice that seems to be louder than the positive,&#8217; added Lizzo.
Last August, Lizzo was sued by three of her former dancers — Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez — who accused her of 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.
Her &#8216;I QUIT&#8217; post came after the dancers&#8217; attorney Ron Zambrano slammed &#8216;shameful&#8217; President Joe Biden for having her perform at his $25 million Radio City fundraiser in March.

Lizzo responded to the &#8216;false allegations&#8216; in a statement, calling the claims &#8216;unbelievable&#8217; and &#8216;outrageous.&#8217;
&#8216;These sensationalized stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional,&#8217; she said.
