Fortunately, it appears inevitable that he will play a larger role in season 5.

Still, season 3 opens the door to explore an interesting dynamic between the CIA and the Supes they&#8217;re keeping under wraps. That&#8217;s wasted now that Homelander is in charge. We already know his agenda, though it will still be interesting to see how he handles the news about Soldier Boy.
<h3>Soldier Boy Needs A Much Bigger Role In The Boys Season 5</h3>

And he may give Soldier Boy a chance to participate in the action, but it is unclear how Ackles&#8217; character would react to such a proposition from the son he despises.
It&#8217;s important that Soldier Boy and other fan-favorite Supes are prominently featured in the last season of The Boys, regardless of their actions. There is no greater way to pay honor to the Boys&#8217; legacy. If Jared Padalecki joins the cast of The Boys, it might lead to an amazing Supernatural reunion in Season 5.
