The Vanderpump Rules alum, 45, is &#8216;seeking in-patient treatment&#8217; for his &#8216;mental health struggles&#8217; according to TMZ.

&#8216;He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment. This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter.&#8217;
Jax — whose home was recently visited by the police — and his estranged wife, 35, announced in late February that they were separating.

Brittany — with whom he shares three-year-old son Cruz — had moved out of their $1.9 million Valley Village home after nearly five years of marriage.
Jax recently hinted at seeking help and healing on Instagram, sharing a Buddhist quote.
&#8216;Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and be brave enough to ask for it,&#8217; the quote he shared over the weekend read.
On Monday, he also posted a story with a caption that read &#8216;Healing&#8217; and showed two books, one titled &#8216;Get Out of Your Mind &amp; Into Your Life&#8217; and another one titled, &#8216;Set Boundaries, Find Peace.&#8217;
Jax recently shared that misses his family &#8216;a lot&#8217; while speaking with TMZ.
When asked if he would call himself single, he replied, &#8216;Britanny and I are separated, and we&#8217;re just trying to figure it out. I don&#8217;t know what you want to call it.&#8217;
He then stated that he is not &#8216;dating&#8217; at this time.
In April, Brittany said she&#8217;s &#8216;still living in an Airbnb&#8217; during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
She admitted Jax has suggested she &#8216;move back in the house and live in the main bedroom and him live in the guest room&#8217;, though she was not keen on the idea.

Following their separation, Brittany revealed the real reason why they split and told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview that they had issues in their marriage for years.
She explained how the birth of their first child Cruz in 2021 made her reevaluate her marriage to the controversial Vanderpump Rules villain.
&#8216;So for me, it was just kind of like taking up for myself. Having a child really woke me up and lifted a veil a little bit of what I deserve and what I am going to put up with for the rest of my life,&#8217; she said.
&#8216;And I just knew that I had to &#8230; figure out what I want to do for my future and make things a super positive living situation for my son. That&#8217;s all that I care about.&#8217;
Cartwright also shared in April that her &#8216;𝓈ℯ𝓍less marriage&#8217; with Jax made her hit her &#8216;breaking point&#8217; and admitted they&#8217;ve discussed dating other people amid separation, saying &#8216;I don&#8217;t want to be unhappy for the rest of my life.&#8217;
In an interview with Us Weekly, the Vanderpump Rules alum said that her and Taylor&#8217;s 𝓈ℯ𝓍 life had &#8216;dwindled so much&#8217; in recent years and that it began to affect her self esteem.
&#8216;I felt like I wasn&#8217;t good enough. If you start to feel like your partner doesn&#8217;t want you and they&#8217;re also being mean to you, it&#8217;s like, &#8216;What am I doing here?&#8217; I&#8217;m basically living with a roommate. I hit my breaking point,&#8217; she explained.

When she tried to speak to Taylor about their lack of 𝓈ℯ𝓍, Cartwright claimed that he would tell her was &#8217;44 and I&#8217;m tired&#8217; — an answer that didn&#8217;t suffice for her.
Brittany also admitted that the couple came under financial strain when they were fired from Vanderpump Rules in 2020 &#8211; which contributed to fractures in their marriage.
&#8216;It was definitely a difficult time in our relationship,&#8217; she confessed.
&#8216;It kind of shifted gears where I became the breadwinner because I was still working, I was doing commercials and different brand deals,&#8217; she continued.
&#8216;I was super lucky to have all that happen for me, but Jax wasn&#8217;t having the same stuff happening for him. So it was a big shift in our relationship that kind of took a toll for a while.&#8217;

The bar owner continued: &#8216;We are trying to figure out a lot of different things: therapy, separation, and maybe, possibly, dating other people.&#8217;
&#8216;We are trying to exhaust everything before we have to go down the divorce road — if that would be the case,&#8217; he told listeners. &#8216;Part of taking some time apart means exploring other people. All marriages are different, but this is what is good for our marriage.&#8217;
