According to People, they are both Hollywood veterans. Her late father, Ernie, was an actor for over 50 years, and her mother, Elaine, worked as a talent manager and actress, according to the source.

Per People, Elaine used to work as a talent manager in Hollywood. As an actress, she appeared in the 1993 video game, Return to Zork, as seen on her IMDb profile. It’s unclear what she does for a living today.
Elaine’s style philosophy has clearly influenced Blake’s over the years. Elaine had three children – daughters Lori and Robyn and son Jason – with her first husband Ronnie Lively, according to People.

It seems Blake’s husband, Deadpool &amp; Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds, gets along with her family, including her mum and late father. In 2020, he took to Instagram to crack a joke at his mother-in-law during the Covid-19 pandemic. He wrote, “This shirt is so unremarkable that it actually renders its wearer completely invisible. For instance, I’m quarantining with my mother-in-law, and she’s been looking for me for days.”
In another post from 2021, Blake shared a sweet photo of Reynolds and her late father hugging one another and wrote, “My guys”.
