Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long, and I must continue to take each day as it comes,&#8221; Princess Kate said in the message. &#8220;I am, however, looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.&#8221;

The update comes nearly six months after the Princess of Wales announced that she was receiving cancer treatment in March. In January, Princess Kate underwent a planned abdominal surgery, and two months later shared the news that she had been diagnosed with cancer in a pre-recorded video released on March 22. In June, the Princess of Wales said she was &#8220;making good progress&#8221; in a statement released ahead of her first official public appearance of 2024 the next day.
&nbsp;
She has so far made two official appearances this year, both over the summer — Trooping the Colour on June 15 and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships on July 14.
