Blake Lively is looking back at the start of her romance with husband Ryan Reynolds more than a decade and four kids later, sharing the thoughtful gift her future husband gave her every week.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ love story has always been in full bloom.
Though the pair—who are parents to daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, and son Olin, born in 2023—have been together for 13 years, the Gossip Girl alum will always remember the romantic gesture her now-husband made during the early days of their romance.
&#8220;When my husband and I first got together, he would send me a bouquet of flowers every week,&#8221; Blake told People in August of Ryan’s sweet move, &#8220;but he would always send a card and it would just be a sentence of something that had happened that week. Something funny or emotional that one of us said.&#8221;
The 36-year-old was moved by her Green Lantern costar’s efforts, calling it, “such a beautiful and romantic thing.”
And clearly the 47-year-old’s special gifts worked. As Blake put it, “Now we have 4,000 children!&#8221;

In addition to being parents of four kids, the family has also been busy promoting the couple’s latest projects. In late July, Blake and Ryan stepped out for the premiere of Deadpool &amp; Wolverine, revealing that the Shallow actress had taken on the role of Lady Deadpool, while their daughter Inez played Kidpool and little Olin was Babypool.
In fact, Ryan expressed his gratitude for this family at the premiere itself.
&#8220;I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here,&#8221; Ryan told the crowd at the event. &#8220;I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here: I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing—that is, the contents of this movie—that happens in your wondrous life.&#8221;
But the support didn’t stop there, as Ryan proudly stood by his bride’s side for the premiere of her new romance It Ends With Us the following month. Blake exclusively told E! News that her husband penned the famous rooftop scene in the film, which is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel.
